Hands-On Math: Pattern Blocks creates a virtual math playground where students explore, investigate and discover mathematical concepts. Students use colored Pattern Blocks on an interactive playground to discover and explore, patterns, sequences, geometry, fractions, angles, shapes, and much more.

Pattern Blocks Playground

Six types of colorful Pattern Blocks are provided for use on the Hands-On Math Playground. The Playground offers an ample supply of blocks which can be placed, moved, arranged, rotated and grouped in order to represent mathematical ideas.

Activities

Students use a slider or buttons to select an activity. Here is a sample activity where the object is to move the correct Pattern Block into the space in order to learn the names and shapes. When the Speech Enhancement option is activated, the name of the shape is pronounced when the student touches it.
